o S pecifying the timezone of your installation will help us synchronize times between the cloud
services and your local time. Times shown on the website and app may be inaccurate if this is
not set correctly.

Access Settings

»
• Enable Resident Access Codes
o I f enabled, AlphaTouch™ will assign a random access code to your residents that they can use
to let themselves into the building. This code can be changed by management or the resident
themselves.
• Allow Residents to Modify their Access Code
o I f enabled, residents will be able to modify their own access code.
• Temporary Visitor Access
o E nabling this feature will allow building residents to send their visitors, through email or SMS
text, temporary QR Codes that they can use at appropriate door stations to grant themselves
access to the building.
• Maximum Access Duration
o S pecify how long temporary Visitor QR Access Codes can last in order to avoid abuse by residents.

Terminology

• Custom Terminology
o Y ou can change certain phrases that are used for your installation. For example, an office building
might change the term "Residents" to "Tenants" -- this will make future changes easier, as the
terminology used is adapted to each particular installation.

Resident Defaults

»
• By default, when a new Residents is created or imported,
o S pecify whether or not you want to automatically send residents their login credentials when they
are created. If you do not automatically send them upon creation, they can be batch-sent later on.

Apartment Defaults

»
• Directory Display
o H ow you want apartments to be displayed on the directory when they are created. This setting can
always be changed on a per-apartment basis if needed.
» Billing & Subscription
This is an area which allows managers to maintain subscription and billing information.
