This chapter describes how to plan for the installation of media modules.
The 8265 media modules can be used as the link in an ATM system to connect 8265
switches together. They can also be used to connect workstations, hubs, servers,
and other ATM devices (such as the 8285 Workgroup Switch) in an ATM campus
network.
These possible types of connections are shown in Figure 11.
