Safety Instructions
ATTENTION:
For your own safety, please follow the advice below, otherwise damage and/or injury may result:
Check the individual parts for good condition. If anything is damaged, do not use the
defective part and contact your dealer.
Disconnect the device from the power supply if you are moving it to another location.
Do not subject the device to vibration. Handle the device carefully to avoid damage and
injury.
Work with care.

Do not drop or move suddenly.

The sensitive components of the device may be damaged.
Make sure that the device is always connected to a grounded outlet.
The temperature can reach 480°C when the unit is switched on.

Do not use the unit near flammable gases, paper, or other combustible materials.

Do not touch heated parts to prevent burns.

Do not touch the metallic parts around the soldering tip.
Unplug this appliance from the wall outlet when not in use for a long period of time.

Switch off the device during breaks, if possible.
Only use original spare parts.

Unplug the unit from the mains before replacing any parts.
When used for the first time, there may be little smoke and odour formation. However, this
is normal and harmless for working with the soldering station.
Soldering generates smoke - so choose a well ventilated place for soldering.
Do not make any structural changes within the device, especially to the power circuit.
This device may be used by children from the age of 8 as well as by persons with limited physical,
sensory or mental abilities or insufficient expert knowledge, provided that these persons have been
given instructions regarding the safe handling of the device and are aware of the risks involved in
handling the device. Children must not play with the device. Children must not clean or maintain the
unit without supervision.
The specific instructions concerning the safe commissioning of the device (see 7.12) can be found in
the first section of the operating manual.
The height of the characters/letters, measured against the capital letters, must be at least 3 mm. This
requirement also applies to alternative formats, such as those on a website.
Failure to exercise due care when handling the device may result in fire.
Caution when commissioning the device in the vicinity of combustible material;
Do not use for a longer period of time at the same place;
Do not operate in an explosive atmosphere;
Heat may come into contact with combustible material which is not visible;
The device must be returned to its holder and must have cooled down before being stored;
The unit should not be left unattended when switched on.
