General Safety Instructions
ATTENTION:
The device may only be used with a residual current circuit breaker with a tripping rated current of up
to 30 mA (according to VDE 0100 Part 702 and 738).
This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or
mental abilities or for lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed by
a person responsible for their safety how to use this device.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
During operation the temperature of the soldering iron, the hot air iron and the nozzle is between
200°C and 480°C. This could result in injury or damage to equipment in the work area if the soldering
station is not handled carefully.
Please observe the following principles when working with the device:
After opening the package, please check that each part of the device is in good condition and
that there is no visible damage in transit. If there is obvious damage, please do not put the
device into operation and contact your dealer immediately!
Switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug if you move the appliance.
Avoid exposing parts of the device to increased mechanical stress (impact, shock, etc.).
Perform a visual inspection of the device before each use. Do not use the device if safety de-
vices are damaged or worn. Never disable safety devices.
Only use the device for the purpose specified in these instructions for use.
You are responsible for safety in the work area.
If the cable or plug is damaged due to external influences, the cable must not be repaired! The
cable must be replaced with a new one.
The voltage of 230 Volt alternating voltage specified on the type plate of the device must cor-
respond to the existing mains voltage.
Never lift, transport or attach the device to the power cord.
Make sure that the electrical plug connections are located in a flood-proof area or protected
from moisture.
Disconnect the mains plug before carrying out any work on the appliance.
Avoid exposing the device to a direct jet of water.
The operator is responsible for compliance with local safety and installation regulations. (Ask a
qualified electrician if necessary)
If the device should fail, repair work may only be carried out by a qualified electrician or by
WilTec customer service.

Electrical connection
The electrical connection is made at a 230 V ~ 50 Hz socket outlet with earthing contact. Fuse
protection at least 10 Ampere.
Commissioning
Place the unit on a level, stable surface with a temperature not higher than 40°C. Position the
unit in a horizontal position so that the station can operate correctly.
Make the electrical connection.
