Connection via two-circuit switch for
manual and automatic operation
Connection via two-way switch for
manual override and automatic operation
Position I: automatic operation
Position II: manual operation
light ON permanently
Note: the unit cannot be switched off, but
operated only at settings I and II.
Functions
The system can be put into operation once the
mains power has been connected and the unit
is closed. Three setting options are concealed
behind the decorative faceplate.
Reach setting (sensitivity)
(factory setting:
reach approx. 1 m)
1 – 8 m
Twilight setting (response threshold)
(factory setting:
daylight operation
2000 lux)
2 – 2000 lux
The desired response threshold of the light can
be infinitely adjusted from approx. 2 – 2000 lux.
Turn control fully anti-clockwise to select night-
time operation at about 2 lux.
Turn control fully clockwise to select teach
mode, shortly before this position means day-
light operation at about 2000 lux. (The light
leaves the factory set to daylight operation.)
a) Load, max. illumination 2000 W
(see Technical specifications)
b) Sensor connection terminals
c) Indoor switch
d) Indoor switch, manual, automatic
e) Internal two-way switch, automatic, manual
override
Connecting several high-frequency sensors
in parallel (not illustrated)
In this case, it is important not to exceed the
sensor's maximum connected rating. In add-
ition, all units must be connected to the same
phase.
The sensor's response threshold can be ad-
justed to any reach setting between approx.
1 m and a maximum of approx. 8 m.
Turn adjusting screw fully anticlockwise for
minimum reach (approx. 1 m), fully clockwise
for maximum reach (approx. 8 m).
Teach mode:
At the light level at which you want the Sensor
to respond to movement, the control should
be set to
. After 10 sec. the value of the
ambient brightness is saved.

Functions
Time setting (switch OFF delay)
(factory setting:
approx. 5 sec.)
5 sec. – 15 min.
Operation/Maintenance
The Sensor is suitable for switching on a light
automatically. The unit is not suitable for burg-
lary alarm systems as it is not tamperproof in
the manner prescribed for such systems.

Declaration of conformity

This product complies with
- Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC
- EMC Directive 2004/108/EC
- R&TTE Directive 1999/05/EC
The chosen light ON time can be varied con-
tinuously from approx. 5 sec. to a maximum of
15 min. (The light leaves the factory set to the
shortest time.) Any movement detected before
this time elapses will re-start the timer.
Pulse function
The pulse function activates the output for
2 sec. (e.g. for staircase lighting time switches).
The surface can be cleaned with a damp cloth
(without detergents) if dirty.
