Indicator lights for DC PSU
Each DC PSU has a LED that serves as an indicator. The indicator shows
whether power is present or a power fault has occurred.
Indicator
LED light
Steady green
Flashing green
Description
A valid power source is connected to the DC PSU.
The PSU is operational.
When hot-plugging a DC PSU, the DC PSU indicator LED
flashes green. This indicates that there is a PSU mismatch
between this hot-plugged DC PSU and the other installed
DC PSU. The mismatch is in any of these PSU
characteristics: efficiency, feature set, health status, or
supported voltage.
Make sure that both DC PSUs are the same.
Notes:
When correcting a PSU mismatch, replace only the DC
PSU with the flashing indicator. Swapping the other DC
PSU to make a matched pair can result in an error
condition and unexpected appliance shutdown.
Installing DC PSU and AC PSU together is not
supported and triggers a mismatch.
