Replacing the BMC board

The baseboard management controller, the so-called BMC board, is located on
the system board and is concealed by the memory boards installed in slots "A"
and "B" (see Technical Manual for the system board D2630).
Requirements
– The server has been switched off
– The power cables have been unplugged
– The server has been pulled out of the rack
– The housing cover has been removed
– The memory boards or dummies in slots "A" and "B" have been removed

Ê Hold the BMC board with both hands (A).

Caution!
Do not bend or twist the board.
Ê Carefully unplug the BMC board from its connector (B) and lift it out.
