Replacing the power backplane

Replacement routines
4.12 Replacing the power backplane
The power backplane is located underneath the system board close to the SAS
backplane.
Requirements
– The server has been switched off
– The power cables have been unplugged
– The server has been pulled out of the rack
– The housing cover has been removed (see page 23)
– The system board has been removed (see page 39)
– The power supply units have been pulled out (see Operating Manual)
Ê Unplug the cables of the power backplane (that are still plugged in)
from the SAS backplane (see pos. "2" in table on page 46 ).

Ê Undo the seven screws (A) of the power backplane and remove it (B).
To install the power backplane follow the above steps in reverse order.
