CHAPTER 5 TROUBLESHOOTING
6. Document Sensor Adjustment
This mode is used to adjust the initial
value of the quantity of light received when
the document is not set at the sensor
section so that the document sensor
functions correctly.
The value performed at the factory is
set when the sensor is shipped from the
factory, but the adjustment is carried out if
the document sensor does not detect a
document correctly because the ambient
amount of light is very different and so on.
Also run this mode after replacing the
control PCB on which data is stored.
This mode can be executed together
with other adjustment items. For details,
refer to the "All Adjustment" item.
Operation Procedure
1) Clean the window for the document
sensor.
Note: Do not set the document.
2) On the service screen, select [Document
Sensor Adjustment].

3) The adjustment starts automatically and
ends instantaneously.
