Configuration

You configure SIMATIC ET 200SP motor starters in exactly the same way as the I/O
modules of the ET 200SP distributed I/O system.
The GSD and GSDML files can be used with STEP 7 V5.5 SP4 and higher, and TIA Portal
V13 SP1 and higher.
You can find out how to assemble/disassemble the server module in the System Manual
ET 200SP distributed I/O system
(http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/58649293) in Chapter "Configuring".

Configuration control

The motor starter supports configuration control. For further information on configuration
control, see the ET 200SP System Manual.
In the non-configured state, the motor starter behaves as follows:
● The PIQ/PII is not evaluated or updated.
● Data set traffic is not possible
● Diagnostic interrupts are not generated.
● In "Automatic" mode, the motor is stopped regardless of the parameter assignment.
● Manual local is permitted. The motor starter works with the last valid parameters.
Do not change the parameterization while "manual local" mode is active.
