Monitoring the water fl ow
While water is running through the Alkaline Ionizer, the water fl ow (total fl ow of water coming out of the main
spout, acidic water spout and drain outlet per minute) is displayed and can be monitored. (Flow display)
Press repeatedly until "Flow" appears on the LCD display.
 Each time the button is pressed, the LCD display changes.
 No fi gure for the fl ow will be displayed when the supply of water has
been turned off or when the fl ow is under about 1.0 liter/minute.
When the water fl ow cannot be displayed
When the fl ow cannot be displayed (such as when the water pressure is too low), it can be monitored on the "Check fl ow" display.

Turn off the faucet, and press
the buzzer beeps four times (about 3 seconds).
 When the button is pressed again for about 3 seconds, the display returns to the previous
screen. The water quality is automatically returned to the "Alkaline" setting used last.

Open the faucet.
 When the faucet is turned off , the display returns to the previous screen.

Using the timer

The buzzer beeps (for about 10 seconds) when the set time is reached.
This is useful when setting cooking times.

Turn off the faucet,
 The LCD display changes to the "Set timer" screen.
 Each time the button is pressed, the time is increased in per 1-minute.
 When the button is held down, the time is increased in per 5-minute.
 Any time from 1 to 60 minutes can be set.
The buzzer beeps twice to signal the start of the countdown.
When the set time is reached,
the buzzer beeps
(for about 10 seconds).
 To stop the buzzer, press

 The Alkaline Ionizer can be used while the time is being counted down.
(The LCD display changes to what is shown on the right, for example.)
 The timer setting is released when:
 Water is run through the Alkaline Ionizer during the timer setting operation.
