5. System Configuration

5.3.3.1 Backup

To back up the device's settings:

Note: A USB flash drive is required to be connected to the console station to store the backup file.

1. (Optional) In the Password field, key in a password for the file.

Notes:

• Setting a password is optional. If you do not set one, the file can be restored without specifying a password.

• If you do set a password, make a note of it, since you will need it to be able to restore the file.

2. Click "Backup". A file management window will open as shown below:

3. In the File name field, enter a backup file name and click "Save". The system will display a success message to indicate

successful backup.
