CAUTION:
Mounting and dismounting rake tines can only be performed with drive off and
engine shut down and also ignition key out.
6.2. Replacing connecting rods
In case of connecting rod damage, a simple replacement is possible by removing the damaged
part. Replace as follows:
Secure raking arm with support,
❑
Remove expansion pins (K) from arm mount,
❑
Once pins are removed slide down arm mount from connecting rod,
❑
Loosen four screws (S) that fix connecting rod to gearbox body,
❑
Remove damaged connecting rod module,
❑
Install new connecting rod,
❑
Re-tighten the screws (S) with adequate torque,
❑
Use support again when installing arm mount, securing it with expansion pins.
❑
When replacing connecting rod it is not necessary to drain oil from the gear.
6.3. 3-point linkage support chain
Support chain is used to ensure 3-point linkage frame of the rake is always at the same height, to
set the mowing unit parallel to the ground and to relieve the hydraulic lift of the tractor.
When connecting rake to the tractor the end of the chain should be put on upper linkage.
