    Z2-780; Z2-840 3. PROPER USE SaMASZ rotary rake is designed for raking forage, dry forage and hay. Rotary rake can only be used by people familiar with its technical data, danger situations that may occur during operation and how to avoid them.

CAUTION: Be certain that children and animals are at a safe distance away from the machine.

In case of a fatal failure, stop the machine's drive, turn the tractor's engine off and take out the ignition key.

    Use only PTO shafts recommended by rake’s manufacturer. 4.6. Residual risk Despite the fact, that company SaMASZ Białystok – the manufacturer of the rake takes responsibility for design and manufacturing of the rake, in order to eliminate dangerous situations, certain risk during rake’s operation is unavoidable.

During any maintenance work always use safety gloves. CAUTION: Residual risk always results from incorrect behaviour of rake’s operator.

    5. OPERATION 5.1. Attaching the rake to the tractor Rotary rake Z2-780 and Z2-840 works properly with tractors (class 2,0 and power from 60 HP) The rake should be attached to a tractor with use of tractor's lower pull-cables as provided on Fig.

Preparing the rake for work CAUTION: During storing of the machines in company SaMASZ the cylinders are protected by special grease in order to secure them against weather which may cause their premature wear. Before starting the operation excess grease should be removed from the cylinders.

For this lift up the driving trolley and secure against an uncontrolled fall.
