5.0 TROUBLE SHOOTING

5.1 SYMPTOMS AND REMEDIES

Front switches not responding
Output Volume Level Is Low
DIP switch changes not effective
5.2 RJ45 cabling configuration for system components
(586A 'Straight through')
System components are connected using "pin to pin" configuration RJ45 data cabling as shown in fig 5.2. When installing
ensure all connections are verified with a LAN cable tester before switching any system component on.
Failure to follow the correct wiring configuration may result in damage to system components.

SYMPTOMS
MP3 Volume Level Is Low
No power to unit.
Audio files not playing
WARNING
system components.
REMEDIES
Press and hold switch for at least 2 seconds
Adjust master volume on rear of unit
Adjust MP3 volume on rear of unit
Check fuse and replace with 2A M205
type fuse if required.
Audio files must be MP3 format.
Check SD card
Turn the unit OFF before changing DIP switch
settings. Settings become effective after
power is returned.
