more than one day if the instrument has been turned off, or if the on-off-
reset control has been set to "Off" for more than 24 hours. Use the
after the date has been selected.
3. Select the Time.
The "time," e.g., 15:05, parameter displayed in the upper right-hand
corner is used in several different ways depending upon what "type" of
parameter has been selected, i.e., Ind, High, Low, Ave. The time
parameter may be scrolled, but only when viewing individual records (type
parameter set to "Ind"). As it is scrolled, the minutes field increments or
decrements by the sampling rate for that group of records.
4. Select the Type.
"Ind" (individual)—shows the time and concentration of an individual
record.
"High"—shows the time of the daily high concentration.
"Low"—shows the time of the daily low concentration.
"Avg" (average)—show the daily average concentration. Note that the
time parameter shows "—:—" (no time associated with daily average).
Monitors with the optional logger and communications option have the
capability of sending the logged data as a report to an ASCII serial device
such as a printer or terminal device.
A four-pin Din connector located at the bottom center of the meter is the
serial-interface connector for this data transfer. The wires connecting this
connector to pins 2 and 3 of terminal block (TB6) on the power supply board
within the monitor's case may need to be swapped for a printer to operate.

baud, 8 bits, 1 stop bit, and No parity. These are common default settings for
many serial-interface printers; however, if necessary, baud and parity can be
changed in the COMM menu within the General menu.
Note: A "Device Offline" Check Alarm will display if a report is sent to a printer without
connecting the serial cable or if the monitor cannot read the printer's [NOT] Busy
signal for whatever reason.
Trend data may be printed in either a "long" or "short" report. To print data,
enter "LOG" from within the "GEN" menu and select "REPORT." Upon entry
into the "REPORT" menu, select "Print" then select Short or Long report
(selecting Long or Short automatically begins the print job). See
