SETTINGS menu selections allow the operator to set the rate at which the
samples are taken and turn the sampling on/off or clear the memory.
The DATA menu allows for on-screen viewing of the logged data.
The REPORT menu allows the operator to send the logged data to other
devices such as a printer or terminal device and select a long or short format
for the data sent.
The data logger RAM provides from over 9 days of storage at the 1 minute
sampling rate, to over 1 year of storage at the 90 minute rate. The table below
details the storage capacity of the data logger.

There are two parameters associated with the setup of the data logger under
the "Settings" menu: the sampling rate ("Rate"), and the on-off-reset control
("Ctrl"). The sampling rate parameter specifies the number of minutes
between samples. Note that the actual value stored is an average taken over
the sampling period. The on-off-reset control enables and disables sampling
and clears data from the data log memory. The SETTINGS menu is depicted
in the illustration below.
