To leave the configuration menu of the CHANNEL-FREQUENCY mode, just press
the key of the operating mode you wish to access.

Frequency tuning

Pressing the CH-FR [10] key you
switch between tuning by channel or
tuning by frequency and vice versa.
To verify you are working on the Frequency
Tuning mode, check the frequency on the screen.

If the channel is shaded, then you are working in Channel Tuning Mode.

If the frequency is shaded, then you are working in Frequency Tuning
Mode.
In the tuning by frequency mode the instrument becomes a receiver with a
resoluti
on of 10 kHz in the 5 to 863 MHz band. In this mode you may tune to any signal
within the band, including leakage pilots, telephone and communications signals.
To change frequency just press the rotary knob [9] until the digit you want to
change
is underlined and then turn the rotary knob [9]. The channel number appears at
the left of the tuning frequency, as long as it corresponds to an active channel.
There exist three modes of frequency tuning measurement:

Level Mode.

Analogue Mo
-
Digital Mode.
You can change the measurement mode from the Configuration menu (see
section
4.2.3.2.4 Frequency Tuning Configuration).
