1. Lubricate:
•Bearings
•Collars
•Spacers
•Oil seals
• Pivot shaft
Recommended lubricant
Lithium-soap-based grease

(to the swingarm)
Installed depth "a"

6.5 mm (0.26 in)

First install the outer and then the inner bear-
ings to a specified depth from inside.

Install:
• Swingarm
Pivot shaft nut
85 Nm (8.5 m·kgf,

ft-lbf)

Install the pivot shaft from the right.

Install:
•Cap "1

Install the right cap with its mark "a" facing for-
ward.

Install:
•Rear wheel

6. Adjust:
