battery fuse (refer to supplied Operator Manual for
more information).

6. Remove stainless-steel socket head cap screws and
washers fastening rear base cover support bracket
to table base. Set fender washers, screws and bracket
aside (see Figure 7-19).
7. Disconnect electrical harness from battery charger
(connector TB3).
8. Remove and discard hydraulic screws and sealing
washers from top of pump.
9. Carefully lift pump assembly from table base.
10. Repair or replace pump and reinstall by reversing
procedure. Replace sealing washers and torque
hydraulic screws to 12 N•m (106 lbf•in).
NOTE: Replace (do not reuse) hydraulic screws and
sealing washers (see Figure 7-19). Ensure bolt threads,
manifold threads and hose connectors are free of rubber
seal particles.
11. Operate table through several movements to
ensure proper operation.
12. Check hydraulic oil level when table is lowered
completely and tabletop level. Level should be
65 mm (2-9/16").

CONTROL REPLACEMENT
Replace Auxiliary (Backup) Hand Control as follows:

4. Disconnect P5 connector from motherboard (see
Figure 7-20).
5. Cut strip and remove cable from cable chain.
6. Remove hand control from Auxiliary Compartment
and replace.

Reinstall hand control by reversing procedure.

Test table operation using Auxiliary (Backup)
Hand Control before replacing covers.

7.14 TABLE COLUMN COVER CAP
REPLACEMENT
Replace the surgical table column cover plastic cap
assembly as follows:
1. Position tabletop to level, slide at zero.
2. Raise tabletop to full height.
3. Properly support tabletop as in later steps Tilt is
disconnected (see Step 9).
4. Turn Main Power Switch to OFF and remove
battery fuse (refer to supplied Operator Manual for
more information).
5. Unplug hand control from Connection Panel (see
Figure 7-21).
