SECTION 6: MAINTENANCE
To reduce risk of shock or
accidental startup, always
disconnect machine from
power before adjustments,
maintenance, or service.
Schedule
For optimum performance from this machine, this
maintenance schedule must be strictly followed.
Ongoing
To maintain a low risk of injury and proper
machine operation, if you ever observe any of the
items below, shut down the machine immediately
and fix the problem before continuing operations:
•
Loose mounting bolts.
•
Damaged cutterhead knives
•
Worn or damaged wires.
•
Any other unsafe condition.
Weekly Maintenance
•
Empty dust collection bag.
•
Wipe down tables and other unpainted ser-
vices with a metal protectant (see Figure 42).
Monthly Check
•
Cutterhead knife alignment (see Page 17).
•
Fence angle stops (see Page 23).
•
Belt tension, damage, or wear (see Page 33).
•
Clean/vacuum dust from inside the cabinet
and around the motor.
Lubrication
All bearings are sealed and permanently lubri-
cated. Do not lubricate them; leave them alone
until they need to be replaced.

Cleaning
Cleaning the Model G0725 is easy and should be
done often. Vacuum excess wood chips and saw-
dust, and wipe off the remaining dust away with
a dry cloth. If any resin has built up, use a resin
dissolving cleaner to remove it.
Protect the unpainted cast iron surfaces on the
table by wiping the table clean after every use—
this will help prevent moisture from wood dust
accumulating on bare metal surfaces.
Keep tables rust-free with regular applications of
products like G96
