received a parity error off the packet bus.
a. Check for alarms logged against the packet bus. See
(Packet Bus)'' on page 8-1230
b. Check for alarms and errors logged against other circuit packs
connected to the PN's packet bus. A list of packet circuit packs is
presented in the first section of this repair procedure. Refer to the
repair procedures for those circuit packs, in this manual, to clear those
errors first.
c. If this is a standard- or duplex-reliability system, replace the circuit
pack at a time that would cause the least disruption of service. The
circuit pack is still functional but should be replaced.
d. If this is a high- or critical-reliability system and if the Packet Interface
circuit is on the standby IPSI, replace the circuit pack.
e. If this is a high- or critical-reliability system and if the Packet Interface
circuit is on the active IPSI, enter set ipserver interface to perform a
planned IPSI interchange. Replace the standby IPSI circuit pack.
