2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Do not use the tool for purposes other than those intended by Cembre.
The operator should concentrate on the work being performed and be careful to maintain
a balanced working position.
2.1 INSTALLING THE TEMPORAIL CONTACT
Remove ballast from under the rail for 15-20 cm in and around the installation area (FIG. 1).
2.1.1) Preparation
Push down the pressure release lever (8) (FIG. 2) and make sure that the ram is fully retracted.
Lift the extraction clamp all the way up (4) (FIG. 3).
Place the contact TEMPORAIL inside the head (2) as shown in FIG. 4.
2.1.2) Positioning
Insert the tool under the rail so as to hook up the head (2) (FIG. 5) with the rail foot, making sure
the stoppers are positioned correctly (
Operate the moveable handle (6) to advance the ram toward the contact (FIG. 7).
Make sure the contact is positioned correctly; if not, reposition it by operating the pressure
release lever (8).
2.1.3) Installing the contact to the rail foot
Continue to operate the moveable handle, the insertion clamp (3) will keep moving forward until
the contact is hooked up to the foot of the rail (FIG. 7).
