To make sure the contact and the rail are matched exactly it is essential to operate the tool
until the pressure relief valve clicks (CLICK) (FIG. 7).
After the contact is installed, push down the pressure release lever (8) until the ram is fully retracted,
then remove the tool from the rail.
Verify the contact is properly installed (
2.2 REMOVING THE TEMPORAIL CONTACT
Remove ballast from under the rail for 15-20 cm in and around the installation area (FIG. 1).
2.2.1) Preparation
Push down the pressure release lever (8) (FIG. 2) and make sure that the ram is fully retracted.
Move the extraction clamp all the way down (4) (FIG. 9).
Insert the tool under the rail (FIG. 10) so the TEMPORAIL contact is inside the head (2); verify that
the head is properly hooked up to the rail foot, by means of the stoppers (
2.2.2) Removing the contact from the rail foot
Operate the moveable handle (6) to advance the ram until the contact is released from the rail
foot by means of the extraction clamp (4) (FIG. 12).
Push down the pressure release lever (8) until the ram is fully retracted.
Pull out the contact from the rail foot and remove the tool.
TEMPORAIL contact is elastically forced onto the rail, so during removal operation it could
be ejected far from the rail foot; the guard (1) (FIG.12) protects against this so removing
risk of accident and operator injury.

The tool is robust, completely sealed and requires very little daily maintenance.
Compliance with the following points should help to maintain the optimum performance of the tool:
3.1) Thorough cleaning
Dust, sand and dirt are a danger for any hydraulic device.
After each day's use, the tool must be wipped with a clean cloth, taking care to remove any residual
particles, especially around moveable parts.
