Configuring and adjusting

DANGER!
Risk of personal injury and equipment damage due to non-compliance with safety information!
If you fail to observe the safety information, you risk creating operating conditions at the dispensing valve which
may cause personal injury or damage to equipment.
Please always strictly observe all safety measures and information/instructions, see chapter 1.
NOTICE!
All installation, maintenance and repair work on the dispensing valve must be carried out by an expert only.
WARNING!
Risk of personal injury and equipment damage due to operation by non-qualified staff!
It is dangerous for non-qualified staff to operate the unit!
Service operations on the dispensing valve may only be carried out by trained and certified experts who
have been trained in undertaking service operations on the dispensing valve.
All wiring and plumbing must be carried out in compliance with national and local laws, regulations and
guidelines. Non-compliance with these laws, regulations and guidelines may result in death, serious injury
or equipment damage.
7.1

Configuring portion control

The dispensing valve module is factory-programmed with fill times. These fill times for each beverage size are listed in the following
table:

7.1.1

"Standard" configuration mode

The module stores the fill times configured for each beverage size. During configuration, the "PGM" indicator lights up. The last
configured fill time is stored when exiting configuration mode.
NOTICE!
Use the actual beverage sizes and amounts of ice for the configuration.
1. Call up "Standard" configuration mode by pressing the program button (Fig. 38/2) for 5 sec-
onds.
The "PGM" indicator (Fig. 38/4) lights up.
2. Place a cup on the drip tray of the base unit and under the dispensing nozzle of the dispensing
valve.
3. Press the button (Fig. 38/1) for the beverage size to be configured until the fill level in the cup
is reached.
The "PGM" indicator (Fig. 38/4) lights up.
The fill time is stored in the module when you exit configuration mode.
4. Repeat the process for all beverage sizes.
5. Exit configuration mode by pressing the program button (Fig. 38/2) or the "Start & Stop" button (Fig. 38/3) for 5 seconds.
The "PGM" indicator (Fig. 38/4) goes out.
The last fill time set for each beverage size is stored.
