1/ Introduction

This user guide describes the COMe-cDV7 made by Kontron and focuses on describing the COMe-cDV7's special
features. New users are recommended to study this user guide before switching on the power.

1.1. Product Description

The COMe-cDV7 is part of Kontron's COM Express® module family. The COMe-cDV7 is an entry-level server-grade
platform based on the Intel® Atom® C3000 series processor product family, featuring scalable Soc performance with up
to 16 cores. This performance combined with quad 10 GbE interfaces, and an additional Gigabit interface makes the
COMe-cDV7 ideal for network intensive implementations.
Key COMe-cDV7 features are:
 Entry level server-grade platform
 Quad 10 GbE and one Gigabit Ethernet
 High-speed connectivity PCIe 3.0, SATA3, USB 3.0
 Up to 32 GB DDR4 memory
 Industrial grade version
 Support of Kontron's Embedded Security Solution- APPROTECT
