TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

THE ECONOMY CONTROL DOES NOT OPERATE PROPERLY
Inspection steps:
1. Economy control engine speed
2. Economy control voltage
3. Economy control switch
TIP
9 The economy control system will not function if a load of 0.8 A or less is used.
9 Remove the following part(s) before troubleshooting.
1) Control box
2) Control panel
3) Fuel tank
9 Use the following special tool(s) for troubleshooting.
Analog pocket tester:
YU-03112-C
Pocket tester:
90890-03112
1. Economy control engine speed
9 Check that the economy control switch is
on.
9 Start the engine (with no load).
9 Measure the engine speed.
Economy control engine speed:
2300–2400 r/min
