6. Ignition coil (TCI unit) resistance
9 Remove the ignition coil (TCI unit).
9 Connect the pocket tester (W × 1k) to the
secondary terminal.

Tester + lead → High tension cord 1
Tester - lead → Black/White terminal 2
Secondary coil resistance:
12 kW ± 20 %

7. Air gap
9 Measure the thickness between the
magnet rotor and TCI unit.
TCI unit air gap:
0.4–0.6 mm (0.0157–0.0236 in)
