OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE

Variable Ratio Adjustment

The leveler is also equipped with a variable ratio
adjustment. This is located at the rear of the leveler and
above the center lift. Connect the leveler link to the top
holes of the center lift mount for normal discing
operations. The lower holes on the center lift, are for a
reduced leveler ratio. This is useful when attaching
harrows to the rear of the disc. The reduced leveling
action help to pickup the heavier attachments quicker
and provides more transport height when traveling.
1. To change the variable ratio adjustment, lower the
implement to the ground and relieve the load on the
lift system.
2. Extend or retract the leveler assembly (manual or
hydraulic), until the load is removed from the leveler
assembly.
3. Remove the pin through the leveler linkage and
center lift mount (See Figure 4-12.)
4. Reinstall the pin and leveler linkage in the desired
position. The leveler assembly will require some
adjustment to connect to the new position.
