Cabling Requirements
Table 3–2 shows the maximum communication distances for different types of cable
used between the DECserver 708 and the Ethernet device. Table 3–3 shows the
maximum cable lengths for a number of data rates using DECserver 708 supported line
protocols.
The cabling requirements of the DECserver 708 are shown in the following sections.
