Use the following cables to connect EIA-232-D devices to the DECserver 708
9-pin D-connectors:

Industry standard 9-pin female cable assemblies with 9-pin (male / female) or (
25-pin (male / female) D-connector as required.

To connect to RJ45 connectors use an H8585-AA adapter. Note: H8585-AA is a
cross adapter for transmitt & receive.

Use this adapter to connect to the Serial port
9 -pin D-sub male connectors.
Use this cable to connect asynchronous,
also used to connect the 10BaseT to Ethernet.
Use this cable to connect serial port to serial
port, through H8585-AA connectors.
Use this adapter to connect to 25-pin D-sub
male connectors (for example: printers).
