Installed the fan last summer and it worked. It has been off all winter. Today I tried to start it and it did not work. Turned the power On at the switch, held the remote On button for at least 15 seconds and the power light on the remote flashed, but did not beep. Fan did not rotate and the speed controls did not make the blades turn. What should I do?

If the TroposAir Solara fan does not start after being off for winter, follow these troubleshooting steps:
1. Turn off the main power and ensure the fan has completely stopped. 2. Check for missing or replaced transmitter or receiver. If either has been changed, a reset is needed. 3. Perform the reset process: - Install the new transmitter or receiver if needed. - Turn the power back on. - Within 20 seconds, press and hold the Fan On/Off button on the remote for 8 seconds until the receiver gives a long beep. 4. Ensure proper wiring connections, including grounding wires to prevent issues. 5. Check the DIP switch settings and make sure the remote is in the correct mode (e.g., dimming if needed). 6. Replace the 12V battery in the remote control if it is low. 7. Make sure the fan direction switch is not in-between positions.
These steps should help restore operation after a long period of disuse.

The TroposAir Solara does not provide an option to turn off the beep sound. All button presses will produce a beep, as stated in the operational instructions.
