5.3 RIDECONTROL CHARGE ERROR

RideControl Charge error notifications
A code appears on the Charge screen. What is going on?
An error notification (location L) will be shown on the display in case a
problem is detected in the system.
EnergyPak indicator % (J), EnergyPak indicator bars (H) and Error code
indicator (L) will blink 3 times. The root cause will be displayed by Error code
indicator (L).
For most errors, the motor assist will remain functional. Motor assist will only
stop in case of a A1 (SyncDrive error).
The error code will show on the screen for as long as the problem persists.
Hardly ever there is reason for immediate concern. Simply restarting the
system will remove the error notification. If the error returns after the restart,
use the Service Tool to diagnose the problem. The Service Tool will identify
the exact error code(s). The error codes are described in the Service Tool
manual, and also a few pages further in this G-System Service Manual.
Unless stated otherwise by Service Tool or Giant information, no part replace-
ment is needed.
