Tests 3278 Display Station offline from the control unit .

Does not test coax driver/receiver and display features; they may be tested with online test 0 (refer to 3.3.2.2l.

Displays a predetermined pattern of characters. F ills display with pattern of characters shown in Figure

3-1, 3-2, or 3-3. Compare th e test pattern lines shown
in the figure with the corresponding lines on the
Mode Entry:
Set Aa/A to Aa. screen. Verify that the characters are in correct
Set Normal/Test to Test. sequence.
This is a test of the character generator, storage,
and control logic. Character-generator failure causes
wrong or defective characters to be displayed at any
point or points on the screen, and control failure
affects all characters.
