6.7.4 Clicker Assembly
1. Switch off power.
2. Disconnect the keyboard from the display sta·
tion. (See par. 6.7.1.)
3. Remove the keyboard top cover. (See par.
6.7.2.)
4. Remove the keyboard assembly from the base.
(See par. 6.7.3.)
5. Disconnect the clicker connector.
6. Remove the clicker assembly by sliding the bail
fastener from under the cast tabs.
7. Reinstall in the reverse sequence.
6.7.5 Keybutton
Remove buttons by sliding the key top puller tool
over the key top and pulling straight up.
6.7.6 Key Module
The work area must be clean during work on the
keyboard. Any particle between the key module
flyplate and the printed circuit is a possible problem.
1. Switch off power.
2. Disconnect the keyboard from the display sta-
tion. (See par. 6.7.1.)
3. Remove the keyboard top cover. (See par.
6.7.2.)
4. Remove the key button from the module that
will be swapped. (See par. 6.7.5.)
5.
Remove the keyboard assembly from the base.
(See par. 6.7.3.)
6. Invert the keyboard, and place it on the base pins
located on the left and right sides.

A, Spacebar Removal, if the
spacebar module is to be swapped.
1. Remove the screws that hold the base plate and
circuit board to the all-keys assembly.
