3.3.2 Online Tests
The 3278 online tests are in the control unit to which the 3278 is attached. When the 3278 is attached to a 3274 or 3276,
online tests may be requested from any online display station with a keyboard, and may be run on any online terminal
attached to the same control unit Results, if any, of the test are displayed at the requesting display station. Eight online
tests can be selected:
Test 0
Test 1
Test 2
Test 3
Test 4
Test 5
Test 6
Display Operation
Error Log Display
Error Log Erase (for 3274, erases error log for selected device;
for 3276, erases entire error log)
Test 8 - PS Feature Test Pattern
(Refer to the control unit documentation for a description of tests 2, 3,5,
and 6.)
When the 3278 is attached to a control unit/adapter other than a 3274 or 3276, refer to the documentation for the control
unit/adapter for the differences to the online tests.
