Remove foreign objects - Pull tongue forward.
Rescue Breathing for Adults - Place
Victim on His Back Immediately
1. Clear throat of water, food, or foreign matter.
2. Tilt head back to open air passage.
3. Lift jaw up to keep tongue out of air passage.
4. Pinch nostrils to prevent air leakage when you blow.
5. Blow until you see chest rise.
6. Remove your lips and allow lungs to empty.
7. Listen for snoring and gurglings, signs of throat
obstruction.
8. Repeat mouth to mouth breathi,i'gs 10-20 times a
minute. Continue rescue breathing until he breathes
for himself, or medical aid arrives.
