4.2 Optical Alignment of the lamp
What had to be done
Optical alignment of the lamp console consists of the following adjustments:
•
Lamp move forward/backward (Z-axis): adjustment for maximum light on the screen.
•
Vertical move (Y-axis) and lateral move (X-axis): adjustments to balance the light intensity on the screen.
The adjustments to the Y-axis and X-axis (balancing the light intensity) are FACTORY PREADJUSTED. Con-
sequently, both adjustable screws (A) are anchored by a lock screw (B) and sealed with a warranty label
(Destroying the label void the warranty). The Optical adjustment to the Z-axis is recommended every time the
lamp is changed or after a lot of run times to guarantee max light output.
