Maintenance and Adjustment of the UV
CHECKING THE FINAL GEAR OIL
LEVEL
1. Place the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Remove the filler plug.
3. Check the oil level.
The oil level should be filled to the

bottom of the filler hole.
4. Install the filler plug.
23 Nm (2.3 m · kg, 17 ft · lbs)

CHANGING THE FINAL GEAR OIL

1. Place the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Place a container under the final gear
case to collect the drained oil.
Periodic Maintenance
1. Remove the Final Gear oil drain bolt (1).
1. Install the drain bolt
2. Remove the oil filler plug
3. Fill until oil reaches the bottom of the
4. Install the filler plug.

Drain Bolt Torque

10 Nm (1.0 m · kg, 7.2 ft · lbs)

Filler Plug Torque

23 Nm (2.3 m · kg, 17 ft · lbs)
Note:
Whenever the drain bolt gets removed
replace the crush washer (gasket) with
a new one.
