Does the main motor rotate until
'E010' is indicated?
Set the meter to the 12VDC range.
Does the voltage between J312-A8 (+;
MMD) and J312-A9 (–; 0 V) on the DC
controller when the Copy Start key is
pressed or when WMUPR starts
change from about 0 V to about 2.6 V
or from about 5 V to about 2.6 V?
Is the drive belt attached correctly?
Is the voltage between the following
jacks on the main motor PCB normal?
J501-1 (+; 36 V) and J501-2 (–; 0V)
Replace the main motor unit. Is the
problem corrected?
Yes/No
Remedy
NO
Go to step 3.
NO
Replace the main motor unit
(M1).
YES
Check the connector J502 on
the main motor PCB for
contact, and check the wiring
from J502 to the connector
J312 on the DC controller; if
normal, replace the DC
controller PCB.
NO
Re-attach it.
NO
Check the wiring from the
connector J206 on the
composite power supply
PCB to the connector J501
on the main motor PCB; if
normal, see "DC power is
absent."
YES
End.
NO
Replace the DC controller
PCB.
