5 The 'ADD PAPER' message fails to turn off (paper deck).

Copier 1 Is the message on the deck?
2 Does the deck's lifter rise?
Deck paper 3 Is the deck paper sensor (PS1)
sensor normal?
Checks
TROUBLESHOOTING FEEDING FAULTS
Yes/No Remedy
NO Check the copier.
NO See "The lifter fails to rise."
NO Check the sensor lever and
wiring; if normal, replace the
sensor.
YES Replace the pedestal control-
ler PCB.
