③ Adjust the needle barⓑ like the above.
④ Tighten the needle bar clamp screwⓒ firmly and close the rubber capⓐ.

5) UPPER THREAD RETAINER

Check the OFF-status condition of a power switch before setting up.
Warning
(1) Upper thread retainer standard position
Set the upper thread retainer to the first and second needle behind on the left when the upper thread retainerⓐ is at the closest to
the needle. (Refer to the Figure 50)
Set the upper thread retainer like above by loosening the upper thread retainer clamp screwⓓ. Then set according to the fixation
by tightening the upper thread retainer clamp screwⓓ.
(2) Upper thread holder standard position
When the upper thread holderⓑ is at the closest to the upper thread retainerⓐ, set the distance between them to 0.4~0.7mm.
When the upper thread holderⓑ is at the end of the right direction, set the distance between the upper thread holderⓑ and the
retainer needleⓒ to 0.5mm.
Set the upper thread retainer like above by loosening the upper thread retainer clamp screwⓔ. Then set according to the fixation
by tightening the upper thread retainer clamp screwⓔ.
Set the upper thread retainerⓐ and the upper thread holderⓑ not to move up and down then
tighten the clamp screw firmly.
