Available CRUs
Lenovo Storage Enclosures contain several Customer-Replaceable Units (CRUs):
• ESMs
• disk drives
• power supplies with cooling fans
You can determine which CRUs pertain to your storage enclosure by visual inspection of the component,
noting serial number and part number. This method applies to disk drives.
IMPORTANT: A Storage Enclosure chassis is a Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) rather than a CRU. FRUs must
be installed only by trained service technicians. For a FRU replacement, contact support.lenovo.com.
