3.3.11 Backlight connector

Onboard there is also a small connector intended for carrying out power supplies, for the connection to an eventual panel backlight's module. This connector
carries out both Power supplies and control signals.

The connector, CN20, is an IDC connector, dual row, 10 pin, p2.54 mm connector,
type MOLEX p/n 70246-1004 or equivalent.
Signal
Mating connector: MOLEX p/n 22-25-2102 with 70058 series female crimp
terminals.
SW_BACK_FUSE
+12V_S_FUSE
SW_VDD_FUSE and SW_BACK_FUSE means Switched_VDD and Switched_Backlight, i.e.,
these are the voltage that can be supplied to LCD and backlight, respectively, and can be driven
LVDS_BACKLIGHT_EN
via software.
LVDS_BKLT_CTRL
The suffix _FUSE means that these voltage rails, like +5V_S_FUSE and +12V_S_FUSE, are
GND
protected by dedicated Polyswitch Resettable devices (Tyco miniSMDC075-F for backlight power
LCD software-driven voltage, i.e. signal SW_VDD_FUSE, can also be regulated to be +5V_S or
+3.3V_S, using jumper JP2, which is a standard pin header, P2.54mm, 1x3 pin.
Similarly, backlight software-driven voltage, signal SW_BACK_FUSE, can be regulated to be +12V_S or
+5V_S, using jumper JP3, which is another standard pin header, P2.54mm, 1x3 pin.
