Common mode chokes are placed on all USB differential pairs for EMI compliance. For ESD protection, on all data and voltage lines are placed clamping diodes
for voltage transient suppression.

Other than the USB ports available through the standard connectors CN12 and CN13, and
to the USB ports available on miniPCI-express slots CN5 and CN8, there are other two USB
ports (#6 and #7) coming out from COM Express
connection of external devices.
They are available on an internal 9-pin standard male pin header (CN10), p 2.54 mm, 4+ 5 pin, h= 6mm, with
the pinout shown in the table on the left.
For the connection of standard devices to this pin headers, it is needed an adapter cable (common adapter
cables for motherboard USB pin headers are suited for this purpose)
