5. Extend the boom, arm, and bucket cylinder fully as shown in
the diagram on the right, remove the oil filler cap, then install
the cap and pressurize the inside of the tank.
NOTICE
Be sure to pressurize the hydraulic tank. If it is not pressurized, the pump
will suck in air, and this will adversely affect the equipment.
Check Dust Indicator
1. Open the engine rear cover and cooling cover. For details, see "COOLING COVER (PAGE 3-29)".
2. Check that the red piston has not appeared in the transparent portion of dust indicator (1).
3. If the red piston has appeared, clean or replace the element immediately.
For details of the method of cleaning the element, see "CHECK, CLEAN AND REPLACE AIR CLEANER
ELEMENT (PAGE 4-17)".
4. After checking, cleaning, or replacing the air cleaner element,
press the knob of dust indicator (1) to return the red piston to its
original position.
