7. Check for problems in gauges and monitor
Check that there is no problem in the gauges and monitor in the operator's cab. If any problem is found, replace
the parts. Clean off any dirt on the surface.
8. Seat belt and mounting clamps
Check for damage or wear to the seat belt and mounting clamps. If there is any damage, replace with new parts.
9. Check floor tilt lock bolts
Open the engine rear cover and check that 6 floor tilt lock
bolts (1) are tightened properly.
If any bolts are loose, tighten them.
If there is any up-and-down play in the floor plate, or if
clearance (A) is too large (normal: approx. 5 mm (0.197 in)),
lock bolts (1) may be broken or loose, so check lock bolts
(1).
If any problem is found, always carry out repairs yourself or ask
your Komatsu distributor to carry out repairs.
10. Check bucket with hook (if equipped) for damage.
Check for damage to the hook, guide, and hook mount. If any problem is found, contact your Komatsu distributor
for repairs.
