When the machine is traveling at high speed, travel speed boost
monitor (5) lights up.
For details of the travel speed values, see "SPECIFICATIONS
(PAGE 5-2)".
REMARK
When the engine is started, the travel speed is automatically set to low speed.
When traveling at high speed, if the machine travels on soft ground or up a slope and the load increases, the
travel is automatically switched to low speed travel, so there is no need to operate the switch. The travel speed
boost monitor displays stays lighted up.
When the load is reduced, the travel system returns to high speed travel.
5. Check that the travel alarm sounds.
If the alarm does not sounds, please contact your Komatsu distributor for repairs.
Moving Machine Backward
1. Set lock lever (2) to the FREE position, then raise the work
equipment 40 to 50 cm (16 to 20 in) from the ground.
2. Raise the blade.
3. Opearate the both travel levers (3) as explained below.
When the sprocket (A) is at the rear of the machine.
Pull the both travel levers (3) backward slowly to move the
machine off.
