Push Rods
9. Insert rod into bursting unit through open
clamp until joint is visible in window (shown).
10. Close clamp.
11. Install rod.
12. To connect rods, rotate spinner clockwise.
NOTICE: Tighten all threaded joints
completely so shoulders touch.
IMPORTANT: After first rod has been
connected, carriage can be moved
forward while spinner is rotated to
connect rods.
13. Move carriage to front of unit.
14. Open clamp.
15. Move carriage to back of unit.
16. Close clamp.
17. Move carriage to back of unit.
18. Open clamp.
19. Move carriage to back of unit until joint is visible in window.
20. Repeat steps 10-19 as needed to complete job.
IMPORTANT: If using auto mode, machine will open and close clamps automatically.
