Further Lead Combinations

Nehb Leads

The Nehb leads are bipolar chest leads. They are of special interest for the diagnosis
of changes in the posterior ventricle wall. Three leads are arranged in the form of a
triangle, also called the "small cardiac triangle". Nehb dorsal (D) is measured between
the electrode positions Nax and Nst; Nehb anterior (A) between Nap and Nst, and
Nehb inferior (J) between Nap and Nax.
Place the electrodes as follows:
Colour Code Electrode identifier
Red C1 (Nst)
Yellow C2 (Nax)
Green C3 (Nap)
All other electrodes can be placed in their normal position The user defined lead order
must be set in the Setup menu:
MENU > SETUP > ECG SETTINGS > 4 x NEXT > NEHB (D, A, J) > on
